Enjoy Our Team Newsletter – Second Quarter 2026

As we close out the second quarter of 2026, we’re soaking up everything summer has to offer: longer days, sunshine, and the kind of weather that makes you want to fire up the grill and eat dinner outside as much as possible! There’s something about this time of year that brings back memories of backyard barbecues, fresh watermelon, and the first sweet corn of the season — simple joys that remind us to slow down and enjoy the moment, even during a busy season.

Speaking of busy, our team’s focus this quarter has been on mid-year planning. Our aim is to help ensure your financial goals are on track as we head into the second half of the year, while also being proactive about any updates needed before year-end. We want to be your trusted partner every step of the way.

The last three months have flown by! I enjoy music to unwind from the business of life. A common theme in lyrics is the notion that life is short, but the days and nights are long. I can’t think of a better description of April to June.  It feels like we finished one round of tax deadlines in April just to fly into another round of tax deadlines in June.

The markets gave us an eventful second quarter with periods of volatility reminding us why a long-term, disciplined approach matters more than ever. Whether the headlines bring good news or uncertainty, our focus remains the same: helping you stay grounded in your goals and ensuring your portfolio reflects your unique financial plan, not the noise of the moment. As always, we’re here to talk through any questions you may have about how recent market activity may impact your specific situation.

We celebrated Jackson’s engagement in our last newsletter, and this quarter we’re celebrating him once again — this time as he moves on to a new opportunity he feels called to pursue, where he’ll be doing more teaching of Advisors. Jackson has been part of our team and your financial planning journey over five years, and his contributions, dedication, and daily presence will be deeply missed. To send him off in style, our team enjoyed a fun outing on Friday, May 29, including a team lunch and a visit to a virtual reality game room where we all got to be pirates for an afternoon, laughing and moving around on a beautiful summer day. Please enjoy the pictures of our team fun below!

On a personal note, my husband and I attended a concert in June. On the professional side, I’ve been traveling to speak with a variety of groups. This included a women’s wellness retreat on money affirmations, and I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be attending and speaking at Renaissance Weekend in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Founded in 1981 by Linda and Philip Lader (the former U.S. Ambassador to the Court of St. James’s), Renaissance Weekend brings together innovative leaders from wildly different fields with one goal: getting them talking about questions that actually matter. I’ll be joining fellow CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS® on a panel called “Ask a CFP® — Funny You Should Ask.” Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like: all the unique money questions clients ask during life’s biggest transitions. I can’t think of a better room to be in, or a better backdrop than the Tetons.

Stay tuned! I’ll be sharing highlights from the weekend in our upcoming conversations.

When I’m not at the office, you’ll likely find me outdoors with my two dogs, Paco and Ollie, exploring everything Colorado has to offer. We’re four months into getting to know Ollie’s personality and quirks, and it’s been quite an adventure. He loves books (especially hard backs), remotes, and people and dogs of all kinds. Ollie has struck up a sweet friendship with a blind Great Dane puppy named Oliver at the dog park. Whether we’re wading through a creek, hiking a trail, or just soaking up the sunshine, spending time in nature with my dogs is my favorite way to recharge. It’s a reminder to slow down, stay present, and appreciate the little things.

One of my favorite activities is walking. While I often walk with friends, I also enjoy walking alone, listening to podcasts, or simply taking some quiet time to think.

I’m fortunate to live in such a beautiful state, with stunning views just a 10-minute walk from our home. I’m also fortunate to work in a lovely area of Denver, where I typically walk through the surrounding residential neighborhood during lunch. I snapped this picture the other day to share with those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to explore the Cherry Creek area.

Taking in the beauty around me while walking allows me to recharge, refocus, and appreciate the opportunity to do so. I hope you all have a chance to get outside during these summer days and enjoy the beauty wherever you are.

Closing Statement

As summer settles in, we hope you’re making time for the people and moments that matter most — whether that’s a backyard cookout, a family vacation, or simply enjoying a slower pace. As always, we’d love to hear what you and your families have planned for the rest of 2026. In conjunction with helping you achieve your financial goals, we’re always eager to get a glimpse of what matters most to you outside of your wealth management plan.
