Charitable Giving & Philanthropy
Purpose-filled philanthropic strategies.
A new generation of donors is looking for purposeful, purpose-filled philanthropic strategies. In many cases, they want their charitable assets used to help tackle some of society’s biggest challenges.
Erin Hadary and her team understand that many of today’s most thoughtful donors are focused on a socially responsible approach to their charitable engagement, and typically interested in contemporary, globally relevant issues such as climate change and social justice. Their priorities may differ from those of their parents and grandparents. Erin can identify with these concerns. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental chemistry and is passionate about helping her clients make smart philanthropic gifts to big social challenges. Erin is the former Board Chair of Colorado’s Resource Central, an innovative nonprofit dedicated to helping people effortlessly save water, reduce waste, and conserve energy. Erin also served as volunteer Board Treasurer for The Western North Carolina AIDS Project to help those underserved in the community.
Erin also holds The Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation, which provides her with recognized skills in philanthropic and tax planning. These skills help her team provide strategic planning and investment management to donors seeking new ways to use wealth to foster sustained impact.
An East Coast native, Erin has lived in Denver for nearly a decade, and her roots in the community are deep. She has built a robust network of sector experts to best support her clients’ needs.
Our charitable planner strategy: How it works
Helping multi-generational families to succeed in their charitable endeavors is a Moneta strength. A key factor is ensuring there is a intentional transition, and not just a transfer, of family assets, particularly around philanthropic aspirations. It’s important for two or more generations in a family to discuss their ideas about the best ways to donate their wealth – and listen to each other. The Hadary Team at Moneta brings families together to have in-depth conversations aimed at setting priorities for philanthropic giving. After that, the team develops a charitable giving strategy that is aligned with a family’s wealth generation transfer plan.
