In 2014, our team’s Athlete & Entertainment Service was born with the addition of Jordan Janes CFP®. Jordan quickly advanced in his career with CWCJ and was promoted to Partner in 2018. The practice has been on a steady growth trajectory ever since, and to support this growth, CWCJ brought on board Kevin Nelson and Anna McDonald as Client Service Managers. As of 2023, both Kevin and Anna have been promoted to new roles within the practice, further solidifying the team’s commitment to providing the best service to its clients.
Kevin Nelson has been promoted to Manager – Athlete & Entertainment Services! Kevin joined CWCJ 4.5 years ago as a Client Service Manager and was previously promoted to Senior Client Service Manager. He has a passion for helping clients through complex financial situations and has developed the skills and network necessary to directly source new clients for our growing Athlete & Entertainment Services Practice.
As Manager, Kevin will continue assisting in the business development of directly sourced clients. He will serve as a liaison with affiliated talent agencies and assist in the execution of certain endorsement activations for our team. He will also step into a mentorship role and assist in the training and development of fellow team members.
We are excited to see his continued growth in his new role. He is forging his own path and his continued passion for business development will be an invaluable asset to our team!
Anna McDonald has been promoted to Senior Support Specialist – Athlete & Entertainment Services! Anna has spent the last 4 years as a Client Service Manager for our Athlete & Entertainment Services, where she has excelled in creating and maintaining client relationships.
As Senior Support Specialist, Anna will continue serving the team’s clients through the coordination and management of various tasks related to client engagement, such as ensuring internal controls are followed and helping with cash flow management. She will also work closely with Partner/Advisor relationship leads to manage and enhance overall client relationships.
Anna’s passion for our Athlete & Entertainment Services is unmistakable in her work. She has been an exceptional resource for our clients and her promotion to Senior Support Specialist – Athlete & Entertainment Services is well-deserved! We can’t wait to see her growth within this new role on our team.
